Encounter @ MOCA


On Sunday, July 20 Encounter #3 was on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Geffen Contemporary as a part of Lamp Art Project's installation with the Mike Kelly Mobile Homestead. The Sunday event featured live music from Lamp's musicians as well as a community art workshop to bring awreness to the houseing needs of those living on skid row.


Stone Rose Gallery Group Show

Two new paintings will be on view at Stone Rose Gallery, with a reception on Saturday, July 26 from 7-9 PM. Over 60 artists will be represented by their small works, all under sixteen inches. The exhibition runs through August 16.


"My Dog is My Home" exhibition online and traveling

"My Dog is My Home," an exhibition organized by the National Museum of Animals and Society is traveling in two pop-up exhibitions and online. To visit the online gallery please click here. Union Station Homeless Services (412 S Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91104) is hosting a pop-up exhibition. Encounter #3 is displayed in their courtyard with a new companion and best friend. The work will be on display through Friday, June 27. The small sculptures will be exhibited in a pop-up at Mt. Tabor Veterinary Care (4246 SE Belmont St., Suite 1, Portland, 97215) from Friday, June 6 through Friday, June 27.


New Series - Political Lines

Please have a look at a new and developing body of work, Political Lines. This new work consists of singular  ink drawing portraits of prominent politicians, and animated ink drawings focusing on the Los Angeles City Council. There are three new galleries to check out. Two Articles from 2013

At the start of the new year here are two articles to review from 2013 about my work.  One, an interview with the Sander Wolff of the Long Beach Post and the other a review of a group exhibition of California sculptors at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art.
